Our Mission
OPYC was Formed in 1936 and we operate on a 10 acre forest service lease. The Mission of this non-profit private club shall be the encouragement of boating for pleasure and sport, to protect and improve Pineview Reservoir, to promote responsible recreation and encourage the development and cultivation of good fellowship among its members.
Our goal is to provide our members a safe, secure, user friendly marina basin for your boating pleasure, a beautiful Clubhouse, RV Park and grounds for your family activities. The success and future of our Yacht Club is a direct result of membership participation and working in a cooperative effort towards common goals.

OPYC is Utah’s only and oldest Yacht Club and has remained in its original location since 1936. Pineview and OPYC are steeped in history, strong community participation, and pleasure boating traditions.

Board of Director Meetings
The BOD meet once a month, usually on the 3rd Wednesday (6:00pm), at the clubhouse. Club members are not required to attend, but may if they would like. 2024 meetings are scheduled for Jan 17, Feb 21, Mar 20, Apr 17, May 15, Jun 19, Jul 17, Aug 21, Sep 18, Oct 16, Nov 20. No December meeting. These dates are subject to change.
